BREWSTER, MA The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster
announces its dates for Saturday Science, <b>February 13, March 5, April
2, May 7, 10am-11am.</b> <br>
<b> <br>
</b>Come join the curious and solve the mysteries! Each Saturday there
will be different experiments led by our STEAM science team:<br>
<br>
<b>• Sat., 2/13, 10 - 11am - Strawberry DNA<br>
</b>Using science and hands-on squishy techniques we will pull out our
curiosity and separate the<br>
DNA out of strawberries. Ages 6 – 10.<br><br>
<b>• Sat., 3/5, 10 -11am - Weather Wonders<br>
</b>Is wind only air that ‘Huffs and Puffs?’ Come dissect our Weather
Wonder. Follow your curiosity<br>
and find out what you can do with the wind. Ages 7 -11.<br><br>
<b>• Sat., 4/2, 10 - 11am - Egg Drop<br>
</b>How you do you drop an egg from 10 feet but keep it from cracking?
Explore with different<br>
materials and designs to build a device that can keep an egg safe.
Compete with other children<br>
ages 9 -13.<br><br>
<b>• Sat., 5/7, 10 - 11 am - Nature Detectives<br>
</b>Have you ever wanted to be a detective? Come and look for evidence in
nature. We try to find<br>
insects, small mammals and discover what lives under a log in the forest.
Ages 4 -7<br>
<br>
Space is limited to 15 students per session<br>
$5.00 per student <br>
