TIME TO GO WILD FOR WILD CARE!

Eastham, MA Tuesday  February 16, 2015:  Wild Care Inc, the wild animal rescue and rehabilitation center in Eastham will  once again host their mid-winter celebration A WILD WINTER NIGHT on March 5, 2016  from 5:30pm to 8:30 pm at the ELKS LODGE, 10 McKoy Road in Eastham MA 02642.  Wild Care supporters and friends will enjoy delicious food from George’s Fish Market, live music from local Cape Cod musicians John Shaw and Mark Borgmann, plus exciting silent and live auctions.  Auction items include Provincetown hotel packages, animal-themed gift baskets, restaurant certificates, kayaking trips, Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots signed merchandise and passes to your favorite Disney Resort!   This festive evening is a perfect way to shake off the winter blues and support Cape Cod’s wildlife animal rescue center.

Tickets are $30 per person in advance, $35 at the door which includes appetizers and clam chowder.   Cash bar and additional food vouchers available for purchase at the event. Since it was founded over twenty years ago, Wild Care has accepted nearly 26,,000 wild creatures, representing 275 species of native birds, mammals, and reptiles. On average Wild Care receives 800 to 1,500 wild animals per year for treatment. It is a vital part of Wild Care’s mission to help educate the public on ways they can avoid harming our animal neighbors.  We work with the community to positively impact the lives of wild animals through our counseling, educational efforts, and outreach.
