In winter 2014-2015, a record 1,250 cold-stunned sea turtles were recovered from
 Cape Cod Bay beaches, making it the largest recorded sea turtle stranding season
in more than 30 years.

Through investigation of the life cycles of these endangered species and cold-stun
trends in Cape Cod Bay over the past 30 years, a story begins to emerge that reveals
the complexities of conserving these fascinating animals.
