Experience less talk and more walk on this 2.5 mile loop designed to get your heart pumping as we hike along the river and through the woods.
The trail is relatively wide and flat for the first mile then transitions to a narrower track with a couple of moderate hills.
Please dress for winter weather. Inclement weather including downpour, snow, or icy trails may cancel. Tuesday, February 16 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM
Join the fun experimenting with everyday tools like tongs, tweezers, pipettes and more to simulate the ways that different birds use their beaks to catch and eat food. Make a pine cone feeder to take home and take a short hike around the Reserve to observe different birds, their habitats and food sources. All ages welcome.

Tuesday - Friday from 10:00AM to 4:00PM
Self-guided activities and crafts, indoor and outdoor exhibits, Children's Discovery Room, water view picnic area and hiking trails. Visit our Park Passport Box outside the Visitor Center. Stop in and discover why President Grover Cleveland was drawn to the natural resources of this coastal park and how DCR staff work to restore and conserve these resources today. Guided tours for groups are available with advance notice. Free admission and wheelchair accessible.
