*Administrative Assistant - CFF*
*Position Description*
Coonamessett Farm Foundation, Inc. (CFF) is seeking either an experienced
administrative assistant, or a college graduate with a degree in marine or
environmental sciences, to provide administrative support to research
projects and ensure efficiency in daily office tasks. An ideal candidate
will be self-motivated and professional, as well as capable of
multi-tasking and independently prioritizing responsibilities. This is a
full-time salaried position with benefits including medical/dental
insurance, sick time, and vacation time. Compensation is based upon work
experience and qualifications.
*Responsibilities*
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Maintain office calendars and organize /schedule meetings including
preparation of meeting agendas and meeting minutes
- Coordinate vessels and staffing for research trips
- Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals and reports
- Maintain a filing system for important documents
- Maintain the contact database
- Submit receipts and invoices
- Order supplies and maintain inventory
- Maintain the company website and Facebook page
- Collect and review biweekly timesheets
*Required Skills & Experience *
- Proven administrative or assistant experience
- Experience in maintaining websites and media pages
- Knowledge of office management skills and ability to multi-task and
prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS office
