PINE FEST —A PINE BARRENS MULTICULTURAL CELEBRATION!
Saturday, May 30, Myles Standish State Forest (Enter the Forest and follow the signs)
Discover your Nature with this charming eco-friendly and family-friendly event in the heart of the Myles Standish State Forest.
Over 50 local organizations and performers will treat you to a full day of fun and playful learning in the heart of the Pine Barrens at beautiful Charge Pond. Learn about the Pine Barrens. Visit a Wampanoag Fish Camp. Try out archery, horseshoes, kayaking and ride a pony! Listen to Big Ryan's Tall Tales, Doc Webb Blues and join in Circle Dances. Try your hand at craft-making and make charcoal circa 1890. Enjoy great ethnic and local foods and entertainment all day long.
Where: Charge Pond Pavilion, Myles Standish State Forest, Plymouth and Carver
When: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Who: All ages.
How: Just show up!
Cost: FREE admission! FREE parking!
Pine Fest is brought to you by the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance (SEMPBA), the Massachusetts Dept of Conservation and Recreation, Mass Fish & Wildlife, local conservation organizations and businesses and the Massachusetts Cultural Councils of Plymouth, Plympton, Middleborough, Wareham, Lakeville, Rochester and Duxbury.
