[SEMCO] Call for Applications: OceA Wilderness Choreography Workshop: An On-Site Residency at The Yard, Martha's Vineyard • September 19 to 28th, 2015

[OceA Dance]

The Yard on Martha's Vineyard will host a choreography workshop/residency
for Dr. Marianne Goldberg's oceans dance projects September 19th to 28th.
The nine-day ocean wilderness residency will focus on contemplative and
improvisational experiences of expedition and embodiment along coastal
edge---as resources for creativity and choreography.

Eight to ten dancers will be invited to participate in the on-site
workshop-residency. Selected participants will be invited to form a dance
ensemble. Travel, housing, and a small stipend will be provided.

Applications are invited from dancers with strong performance experience
and technical background, along with somatic/alternative training in
invention and improvisation, who are interested in site specific
environmental work.
