[SEMCO] IRLRI TechCon 2015 on September 25 and 26th

Hello,


The Indian River Lagoon Research Institute (IRLRI) at Florida Institute of
Technology is seeking abstracts for oral presentations or poster
presentations for the *IRLRI TechCon 2015* on *September 25 and 26th*.  The
IRLRI TechCon2015 committee seeks Engineers, Scientists, Contractors, and
Students who are actively working and researching in the field of coastal
water quality remediation and restoration to submit an abstract for a
presentation.  The conference is focused on adapting and applying science
to guide management decisions and develop solutions aimed at improving
coastal water quality.



SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH

   - Welcome & opening remarks : 8:00 am
   - Keynote Speaker:  8:30 am
   - Speakers and presentations: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
   - Posters & Reception: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm



SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH

   - IRL Coastline boat tour  -Van departs at 9:00 am  Boat Departs marina
   10:00 am
   - Boat Returns to marina at 12:30 pm -  Van returns at approximately
   1:30 pm
   - Open House. Local scientists and organizations host tables and share
   information time *1:30 – 4:00 pm on FIT campus.
   - Dinner & Cocktails, 6:00 pm  9:00 pm



The IRLRI is a group of more than 20 FIT faculty members that have come
together to improve understanding and to develop solutions for current
threats facing the Indian River Lagoon and other coastal systems.



The submission period is June 20th-August 20th. Please see the attached
