COTUIT CHRONICLES

August 20, Thursday, 7pm,  Cotuit Library
Coastal Corners of Cape Cod
Professor Gilbert Newton, Cotuit Resident
Long time Cotuit resident and author, Gil Newton will discuss the coastal corners
 and margins of the local seashore, marshes and dunes. Mr. Newton will  review the
natural history of Cape Cod, its diverse marine plants and  animals, and the fragile
ecology of the region.
Professor Newton  teaches at Mass Maritime Academy, Cape Cod Community College and
is the  director of the new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and  Mathematics)
program at Sandwich High School.
