The Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen's Alliance joined forces with other community-based,
small boat commercial fishing groups from across the nation to form a coalition 
in order to give a bigger voice to the specific concerns of our fleets on a national
level.

Together, we want to improve the management and success of our nation's fisheries,
especially regarding the reauthorization of our nation's primary fisheries law, 
the Magnuson-Stevens Act.

Come meet local fishermen and sample the fresh seafood they harvest off our shores!
The Fishermen's Alliance will have a food booth and merchandise table at the 14th
annual Wellfleet OysterFest. All seafood will come directly from Cape fishermen 
and be served up by them - the freshest and most delicious seafood you'll ever taste.
Our booth is located in the back of the Main Street parking lot across from Wellfleet
Preservation Hall.

Skate cheeks are excellent meaty rounds of sweet, white fish.

Cape Cod fishermen, by necessity, have had to adapt to fishing for different species
due to a lack of groundfish, including cod.

Hear from Chatham fishermen Tim Linnell and brothers Chris and Jim Nash as they 
share stories about life on the water and their efforts to bring skate cheeks to
 the market here on the Cape.
