Program – What’s Happening to the Trees?

As we witness, year after year, our trees are being stripped of vegetation and under attack by a variety of invasive insects. What affect might this have into the future and will our forests survive?


Ken Gooch, Director of Forest Health for Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation will share his insights about the health of our forests and some of the threats and strategies for protection being used across the state.



The Friends will hold a short annual meeting followed by our traditional BBQ as we enjoy the afternoon and beautiful views overlooking Waquoit Bay.
