Dr. Graham Giese is a coastal geologist and co-founder of the Center for Coastal
 Studies.
Graham will discuss his recent and ongoing development of methods for determining
the volume rate of sediment transport (the river of sand) along the shores of Cape
Cod.
He will explain the geological concerns and numerical techniques that frame his 
model, and will describe the data that is used and the results of its application
to several sections of the outer Cape coast.
