Corey Accardo presents "Oil in the Water: The Bowhead Whales and the Alaskan Arctic"

Corey Accardo is flight coordinator for the Center for Coastal Studies Right Whale
Research program.

Corey will describe the natural history of the bowhead whale and explore the complex
relationship between the whales and the Native Alaskans who are allowed to hunt 
a
limited number of them. She will also discuss the evolving Arctic and how the changing
environment affects the animals, land and people.
