It’s time for the grand finale of Making Waves in Coastal Conservation, a speaker series featuring up and coming experts in the conservation and management of coastal areas.

Who and What: Alex Belote of Plymouth-based Wildland Restoration International will speak about using prescribed fire in the Pine Barrens as a management tool for ecosystem health and to reduce the chance of catastrophic wildfire. His talk is entitled: Burning it Down to Bring it Back Better

When: Wednesday, July 23, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Where: 204 Long Pond Road, Plymouth (Southeastern Mass. Pine Barrens Alliance Community Conservation Center)
