Join Us Sunday Afternoon before the Super Bowl from 12 noon to 4 pm.

This Sunday, February 2nd,
join WLCT and TTOR staff to
walk from the Slocum's River to the Westport River.  This 5.5 mile hike crosses 
conservation and privately owned land ending at the Westport Rivers Winery for a
 wine tasting.
A bus ride is available back to your car.
Members $5 and
Non Members $10 per car.
Wine tasting is available for an additional charge.
Over 100 people enjoyed this invigorating walk over rough  terrain last year. Wear
 sturdy boots and be prepared for uneven ground.

Denise Risch, PhD, Senior Bio-acoustician at NOAA's Northeast Fisheries Science 
Center in Woods Hole, MA will talk about her research into ocean noise and how it
may affect these majestic giants in the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

Since its founding in 1972, the Westport Land Conservation Trust has  assisted landowners
in protecting more than 3,988 acres in Westport,  Massachusetts. WLCT is a private
non-governmental organization dedicated  to local land conservation on behalf of
 the Westport community. The  organization accepts gifts of land and conservation
restrictions on  land, and assists farm owners in preserving farmland with agricultural
 preservation restrictions.
