Bourne Community Boating Winter Talk:

High Latitude Sailing; Ordinary People in Extraordinary Places

The first talk in Bourne Community Boating’s Winter Lecture Series is coming up
on Thursday January 23 at 7 pm in the Trowbridge Tavern Canal Club in Bourne.
 Finley Perry will be talking about his adventures sailing at high latitudes.
 There will be a focus on a recent August 2013 trip aboard the S/V Elskov to the
Hudson Straits that promises talk of icebergs and polar bears!  In addition,
there will be a display of artist and high latitude sailor Peter C Stone's work
for viewing before and after the talk.

The evening is open to all, admission is free, and all donations will go to
support BCB.

Thursday January 23 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Trowbridge Tavern Canal Club, 100
Trowbridge Rd, Bourne MA (just off the Bourne Bridge rotary).
