Beach Ambassadors Open House

When: February 22, 2014, 1-4 p.m.

Where: Plymouth Public Library, 132 South Street, Plymouth

What: A chance for people looking for a fun, outdoorsy summer volunteer opportunity to preview Plymouth Long Beach nature activities run by volunteer Beach Ambassadors: osprey viewing station, kids' nature games, and nature discovery walks. Also, an opportunity for those interested in the program in general to try out some fun nature games and activities. We’ll have beach bingo, osprey vs. red-tailed hawk quiz game and more.

Details: The Beach Ambassadors are volunteers who teach about nature on Plymouth Long Beach in the summer. Applications are being accepted now. Twelve people will be chosen for training to become Beach Ambassadors and volunteer this summer.
