On December 10, the Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC), the Barnstable
County Coastal Resources Committee (CRC) and the Cape Cod Stormwater
Managers Group will host an information session on the draft MS4 Stormwater
Permit for Massachusetts.


Mr. Newton Tedder, MS4 Program, Region 1, U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency, will describe the draft MS4 Stormwater Permit which was issued in
late September.  The draft MS4 permit contains important changes from the
previous stormwater permit.  Resource managers and public works managers
have been waiting for the issuance of this permit for several years, and
this information session will provide an opportunity to ask questions.  *In
particular, **Mr. Tedder will cover Cape Cod TMDLs and how stormwater
management relates to TMDLs.*


The target audience for this information session includes municipal
stormwater and wastewater managers, public works directors, natural
resource managers, planning boards, conservation commissions,
decisionmakers and the general public.



Following the presentation, there will be a joint meeting of the CRC and
the Cape Cod Stormwater Managers Group to discuss next steps.

*Directions*:  Take Route 6 (the Mid-Cape Highway) to Exit 6.  From Exit 6,
travel northbound on Route 132 for approximately 1/10 mile.  The College
entrance will be on your right.  Follow the one-way road until you see
Parking Lot 7 on your right.  Lecture Hall A will be on your left.
