On Sunday, October 13 the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster will host Murder “Seals” the Deal , an interactive comic mystery by local playwright Eva Schegulla. 

Reception: 5 pm. Seating for the play: 5:30 pm. Dessert and prizes (for ‘whodunit’ winners) follow the show. Tickets are $30/person. Reservations required. Please call the Museum at 508 896 3867, Ext. #133. 

This event is a benefit for the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. 

Dr. Luke Heller, the lead veterinarian at a small, underfunded New England marine hospital, has a problem -- a NOAA inspector is expected at any moment, and there’s a human body in the seal tank, along with the seal patient. He turns to his old flame, Detective Adrienne Foxx, to help him out of this predicament, along with dedicated animal care technician Teri and flakey volunteer Joye. 

The audience has a chance to fill out a “Whodunit” slip with the correct answers placed in a drawing for the prize winners. 

Eva Schegulla has a long career working backstage on Broadway with international playwriting credits. The comic romp was originally commissioned by the National Marine Life Center in Buzzards Bay , MA as a fundraiser for Townsend-the-seal (who provided the inspiration for the character of Sammy-the-seal).
