There's still time to sign up for the third and final lecture on
Environmental Tipping Points
The Woods Hole Research Center (WHRC) will conclude its lecture series on Environmental
Tipping Points with Food For Thought: Balancing Agriculture, Forests, and Climate
to be held this Thursday, October 24 at 5:30 p.m. Senior Scientist Dr. Michael Coe
will present findings on how Amazon deforestation can lead to climate shifts affecting
forests and crops. If you have not done so already, RSVP today to events at whrc.org
[mailto:events at whrc.org].
The lecture will be held in WHRC's Harbourton Auditorium and begins promptly at
5:30 p.m. Due to limited parking and seating, reservations are highly recommended.
The series is free, and the public is encouraged to join in these conversations
with WHRC scientists.
