[SEMCO] Mashpee Land Stewardship 2013 Guest Lecture Series

Michael Talbot of Talbot Ecological Land Care will be presenting a talk on "Ecological Landscaping: Bringing the Beauty and Serenity of Nature to the Home Garden".

Michael Talbot has served on the Mashpee Conservation Commission as Vice Chairman and was instrumental in helping the commission to develop our mitigation regulation.  Mr. Talbot's company has carried out numerous landscape restoration projects throughout Mashpee and beyond with a focus on restoring native vegetation, ranging from coastal dune, grassland and scrubland habitats to inland pollinator  and rain gardens.

Be sure not to miss what will surely be a very informative and entertaining presentation!

Michael Talbot will be presenting on Tuesday, April 2nd at 7:00 p.m. here at Mashpee Town Hall in the main conference room



Also, this coming Tuesday, March 12th at 7:00 p.m., our Guest Lecture Series continues with Michael Wojtech, author of the book "BARK, Get to Know Your Trees"   Learn how to identify trees solely by the bark type!!  Be sure not to miss this highly entertaining presentation!!
