[SEMCO] Sorkeling With Snappers at Ashumet Holly Wildlife Sanctuary

Dear Friends,

If you think you have heard it all, you haven't! We invite you to snorkel with Snapping Turtles, with author Susan Baur and Museum of Comparative Zoology Herpetologist Joe Martinez, in Falmouth's Grassy Pond. As far as we know, this is the only program of its kind on Cape Cod. The photo is very endearing as well.

Snorkeling with Snappers!

Like Adventure? Dive into Grassy Pond with author Susan Baur (The Turtle Sisters), Herpetologist Joe Martinez, and Long Pasture Director Ian Ives, to see snappers, painted turtles, musk turtles and bullfrogs in their own habitat. We will also release a turtle back to its home.

Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the north side of Rt 6a in Barnstable.  Trails are open daily dawn to dusk.  Sanctuary admission is free for members; $4 adults, $3 children for non-members. Call (508) 362-7475 for information.
