July 23 - 28 is WHALE WEEK!
*Monday, July 23 at 11 am: WHALE WEEK - MEET DELILAH THE WHALE!*
Step inside Delilah, an inflatable, life-sized North Atlantic Right Whale,
and learn more about these rare and amazing animals!
Free - all welcome! Hiebert Marine Lab, 5 Holway Avenue, Provincetown.
*Monday, July 23 at 5 pm: WHALE WEEK - BUILD YOUR OWN BOAT PADDLE RACE!*
Use your ingenuity and whatever else you can find to build a boat that will
float long enough to get you to the finish line! Meet behind Whaler’s Wharf
and the Crown and Anchor and be ready for a whale of a time!

Tuesday, July 24 at 11 am: WHALE WEEK - SCAVENGER HUNT!
Pick up your shopping list at the PCCS kiosk on MacMillan Pier. Free!
Tuesday, July 24 at 7:30 pm: WHALE WEEK - TRIVIA NIGHT!
Gather a team and pit your wits against Center scientists!

Wednesday, July 25 at 11 am and 4 pm: WHALE WEEK - THE TALE OF IBIS
Fun and thought-provoking puppet and live action theater performance for
children that tells the story of Ibis, the first whale to be disentangled
by the Center.
Free, donations welcome. Town Hall, Commercial Street, Provincetown.
Sponsored by the Josephine Foundation and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.
Thursday, July 26 at 11 am: WHALE WEEK - MARINE LECTURE
Join Center educator Jesse Mechling for a discussion on the Cape's marine
environment. Topic: *Whales of Cape Cod.*
Free, all welcome! Meet at the Provincelands Visitor Center.
Thursday, July 26 at 6 pm: WHALE WEEK – LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Capture the Outer Cape’s most iconic scenes while learning new techniques
from award-winning photographer and Center educator Jesse Mechling. Bring a
camera, tripod, and your photographic eye.
Free. Reservations required - call 508-487-3623 x 103 to register. Meet at
the Provincelands Visitor Center.
Friday, July 27 at 10 am: WHALE WEEK – WHALE OLYMPICS, ARTS AND CRAFTS.
Make sun prints, mobiles or white-line woodcuts of the unique animals that
live in our waters and enjoy some fun marine themed games!
Free, all welcome! Meet at the Bas Relief Park, opposite Town Hall on
Bradford Street, Provincetown.
