February Vacation Week at the National Marine Life Center

Open February 18-26, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

FREE ADMISSION, unless otherwise noted.  Education programs extra.

 

For the Love of Turtles Open House!

Saturday, February 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Join us for our February Open House!  Explore the Discovery Center, make a
marine animal valentine, enjoy games and refreshments and tour our new
marine animal hospital.

Members: FREE.  Non-members: $5/person.

 

Fins & Flippers Club

Monday (Feb. 20) through Friday (Feb. 24) at 11 a.m.

Join us for a marine animal-themed story time!  Different themes every day.
All ages welcome; most suitable for children ages 3-8.  Children must be
supervised.

Daily Themes:  Feb. 20: Sea Turtles; Feb. 21: Seals; Feb. 22: Dolphins &
Whales; Feb. 23: Manatees; Feb. 24: Sharks.

Members: $3/child/program.  Non-members: $5/child/program.

 

Marine Animal Medical Mystery

Monday (Feb. 20) through Friday (Feb. 24) at 2 p.m.

What does it take to be a marine animal care technician?  What are some of
the questions and "mysteries" involved in wildlife rehabilitation?  Each day
we'll learn how to care for a different animal.  Daily themes as above.
Best suited for ages 8-12.  Space is limited to 12 children.  Please reserve
your spot by calling (508) 743-9888, x12 at least 24 hours in advance.

Members: $3/child/program.  Non-members: $5/child/program.

 

Programs take place at National Marine Life Center, 120 Main Street,
Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.
