Summer Internship Available

The Association to Preserve Cape Cod is seeking an intern for the summer 
of 2011 to work as a salt marsh monitor.Responsibilities include 
measuring pore and surface water salinity levels, mapping invasive 
species, taking water quality measurements, conducting vegetation 
surveys along established transects and evaluating fish populations 
using the block seine method.

Applicant must be organized and physically able to walk through salt 
marshes and other difficult terrain.

Fish seining and field study experience preferred.

Fish and Plant identification skills, YSI datalogger and GPS experience 
a plus.
