In summer, rare Diamondback Terrapins emerge from the Great Marsh to lay
their eggs in the dunes of Sandy Neck.

Join Ian Ives, Director of Mass Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary,
and Nina Coleman, Manager at Sandy Neck, as we search for signs of nests and
tracks of these amazing and mysterious turtles. Learn about the headstart
program helping the tiny terrapins.

Meet at the gatehouse. Parking is free for participants.

Please wear sturdy walking shoes, as we'll be walking through sand and
across uneven terrain.
