The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents the CCMNH Volunteer Field
Guide and Interpreter Training Program. The training dates are: Tuesdays
March 22-April 26 from 9 am-2 pm and Saturdays April 2, 9 and 16 from 9
am-12 pm. Please register by March 15 by calling the Museum office - 508
896-3867.
This is the training program for those wanting to become volunteer
naturalists and serve as outside interpreters (field guides) and inside
interpreters (museum docents). The goal of the training is to provide
participants with a background in the ecosystems encountered on the CCMNH
trails, the identification and relationships of the plants and animals in
these ecosystems, and the geology and history of Stony Brook Valley in
particular and Cape Cod in general.
The CCMNH Volunteer Field Guide and Interpreter Training Program is a
special opportunity to learn about our unique Cape Cod environment and to
share our knowledge with residents and visitors.
