FYI.
The Department of Natural Resources Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (CBNERR) in Maryland is accepting applications for a full-time Education Coordinator (Administrator II).  This position is based in Annapolis, MD and is responsible for developing and coordinating the Reserve's Education Program based on estuarine science.  The Education Coordinator plans, develops, coordinates, and conducts K-16 education programs, teacher trainings, and public education programs for the Reserve in cooperation with the other team members and community partners.  The ideal candidate will have a solid science understanding of estuaries and estuarine issues, experience in inquiry-based and environmental/outdoor education, familiarity with state education curricula and standards, and significant boating experience.  Travel and boating are required activities of this position.

This position is based in Annapolis, but the Reserve is comprised of three components, and most education activities occur at or near those components:  Otter Point Creek (Harford County), Jug Bay (Prince George's and Anne Arundel Counties), and Monie Bay (Somerset County).  The Reserve is one in a network of 27 reserves around the U.S. that make up the National Estuarine Research Reserve System.
