On Saturday, December 11 at 2 pm the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History will
present Cape Cod National Seashore: The First 50 Years with Daniel Lombardo.
$3/Member, $5/Non-Member.
 
Encompassing 44,000 acres of forest, marsh, bog and ponds, and stretching 40
miles from Chatham to Provincetown, the Cape Cod National Seashore has
preserved a significant portion of the Cape environment.  
 
Daniel Lombardo, author, writer and theater director, will speak on his new
book, Cape Cod National Seashore: The First 50 Years, from the political
drama of its creation to the history of early Native American settlements,
whaling, shipwrecks, lighthouses, windmills, and dune shacks that populate
the story of this spectacular seashore.

A book signing will follow the program.
