April is SKUNK MONTH at Green Briar Nature Center. Adults and families are invited to a special presentation by wildlife biologist and Doctoral Candidate Luanne Johnson of Edgartown. Luanne has studied skunks over a period of four years on the Vineyard.  She will detail what she has learned about coastal skunks, their natural history and ways one can minimize problems with skunks. SHE WILL NOT HAVE A LIVE SKUNK.

 

The presentation is suitable for children ages 6 and up.

 

This is the third presentation in our monthly speaker series celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Old Mother West Wind by Thornton W. Burgess.
