First Day Hikes are a great way to cure cabin fever, to burn off extra holiday calories, and to start the New Year off with an invigorating winter hike in a beautiful state park.

Join staff at the Waquoit Bay Reserve Visitor Center for a 1.5 mile hike.  We will travel through woodland trails, field, and beachfront habitat with a panoramic view of Waquoit Bay from the bluff.  Learn about the historic buildings of the old Sargent Estate that have been converted for modern use, then warm up in the Visitor Center with some hot chocolate and treats.

Please dress for the weather and wear winter boots.  Program is free and open to the public.  Reasonable accomodations are available upon request.
