Lecture by Dr. Greg Skomal, Biologist, Mass. Division of Marine
Fisheries
Wednesday, August 26, 7:30 p.m.
At the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary
Makos, tiger sharks, basking sharks, hammerheads, and the infamous great

during the summer. Join us to learn about these denizens of the deep.
Dr. Greg Skomal, Mass. Division of Marine Fisheries biologist, has
studied sharks for more than 20 years and is the leading expert on shark
biology. Packed with incredible photography and video, Dr. Skomal's
presentation will highlight the natural history of these elusive
creatures and share the results of current research including a tracking
program studying the giant basking shark.
Copies of his new book The Shark Handbook will be available for purchase
and signing.
Cost for the talk is $5 for Mass Audubon members, $7 non-members. No
registration necessary.
