Hands-on Clams: Shellfishing and Aquaculture on Cape Cod**

*

Handfuls of littlenecks

Please join Owen Nichols, director of the Center's Marine Fisheries
Initiative, for this panel discussion featuring author and shellfish
biologist Sandy Macfarlane and local shellfish harvesters and growers. They
will discuss the techniques employed in shellfishing and aquaculture on the
Cape, the state of today's industry, and its future directions.

This is your opportunity to learn more about how your favorite
shellfish--whether littlenecks, oysters, or soft-shell clams--is harvested
and cultivated; and how it ends up on your dinner table.
