Coastal windfarms and other new projects have often been discussed.

Who benefits and who pays the price for changes in the coastal environment?

Take a look at _www.greenjobsnow.com_ (http://www.greenjobsnow.com)

During the next few days, people of color and low-income people in New
Bedford, Boston, and other coastal communities, will join together to talk
about changes in the environment and the need for "green jobs." How do we
lift local people out of poverty while protecting coastal areas?

On Cape Cod, the "green jobs" program will be introduced on Wednesday,
9/24.

A movie interview with Van Jones will be shown on Wednesday night..... Van
Jones is the
community organizer who has helped to build the "green jobs" campaign.

The movie will be shown at the Unitarian Universalist church, 840 Sandwich
Road, in
East Falmouth... The movie will begin at 7:00 pm.... Free admission.
All people are invited.... The building is easily accessible for people with
disabilities.... TELEPHONE: (508) 457-0449.

The Sierra Club's Cape Cod and Islands Group is a co-sponsor of this event.
