Friends of CCMNH monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008
at 1:00pm, followed by the program, The Fascinating World of Hummingbirds,
with Sue Finnegan at 1:30.  Friends members/free, guests/$3

 

Sue Finnegan, NABC Certified Master Bander and Trainer will give a
power-point talk on the Ruby-throated Hummingbird, our most prevalent
hummingbird in Massachusetts.  She will discuss their habits, attracting
them to your yard, and her adventures in banding these jewels of the bird
world.

 

Sue, current President of the Eastern Bird Banding Association, has been
banding birds for 14 years.  She opened the Wing Island Bird Banding Station
at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in 2000 and has managed the
banding program since then conducting numerous research projects.
