Dear MOPF Partners and Prospective Partners,

 

At long last, I am happy to announce we are recruiting for three
full-time staff positions at MOPF: Administrative Coordinator,
Communications/Outreach Manager and Science Program Manager.  In
supporting the partners' efforts to advance integrated ocean management
in MA, MOPF staff will have exciting opportunities and stimulating
challenges at the interface of ocean management / policy, natural and
social sciences, and collaborative processes.  Each position is a 3-year
appointment with the potential for extension based upon MOPF's successes
in implementing its Strategic Plan and securing future funding.  MOPF
offices are located at the University of MA, Boston.  

 

Though admittedly ambitious, we are aiming to fill these positions in
time for new staff to attend the partners' meeting on April 2.  I would
be grateful for your help in circulating these job announcements far and
wide - forwarding them to your constituents and colleagues, posting them
in your newsletters, websites, etc.  Also, if you know of qualified
candidates for any of the positions, by all means please pass along the
announcements to them and their names/contact information to me, if
appropriate.  We will also post to the following job sites:

*         sustainablebusiness.com/greendreamjobs   

*         CZ-mail (unfortunately we missed the Feb issue, but if we need
to re-post anything we'll hit the March issue)

and circulate postings to area graduate school/alumni e-newsletters.
