On Tuesday, September 9 at 1:30 PM the Friends of the Cape Cod Museum of
Natural History will present Ticks and Tick Borne Illnesses on Cape Cod with
speaker David Simser 

 

Dave Simser is a board certified entomologist working for Cape Cod
Cooperative Extension.  He has been trudging through woods on the Cape and
Islands for over ten years in search of ticks and has been bitten by just
about every arthropod we have to offer.  His presentation will feature these
local tick species and their tick borne illnesses; prevention of ticks on
the body and in the yard will be the underlying message.
