By acting as individuals we can reduce our reliance on non-renewable fossil fuels. A FREE workshop entitled > "> Go Green> "> will show you how.

> Co-sponsored by the Cape & Island Renewable Energy Collaborative, Mass Audubon> '> s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, and Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, > "> Go Green> "> is a free, all-day workshop that focuses on energy efficiency and renewable energy systems in the home and small business. Scheduled for October 31, the workshop will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary in South Wellfleet and then repeated on November 3 at Waquoit Bay Reserve in Waquoit.

> The workshop will feature presentations by expert speakers from a variety of organizations and companies including Kevin Galligan of the Cape Light Compact; Richard Lawrence of the Cape & Island Renewable Energy Collaborative; Bruce Torrey, an expert on making your building energy efficient; and Tom Wineman, a renewable energy consultant. Take-home information designed to help you improve your quality of life, save money, and help protect the Cape> '> s natural resources will also be provided. Topics will include the benefits of energy efficiency, alternative vehicles, solar power, and > "> clean and green> "> electricity.
