[SEMCO] Reminder -- Oct 13 marine education conference

The annual Boston Harbor Educators Conference will be held October 13th 
from 9am-5pm with a focus on Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary 
(which celebrates its 15th anniversary this fall).

The day promises to be filled with great talks, exciting hands-on 
activities, loads of take-aways that can be used in the classroom, and a 
"field trip" whale watch to the sanctuary (if weather and sea conditions 
are too rough, we will substitute a harbor islands tour).

Cost for the day-long program (including lunch and the whale watch) is 
$45.  Conference registration is from 8am-9am at the McCormack Building 
at UMass Boston (Boston Harbor campus -- use JFK Library exit from 
Southeast Expressway or JFK Library stop on the MBTA Red Line).
