[SEMCO] come to an ocean science workshop

Science educators: It's not too late!

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is offering a 9:30-3:30 
professional development workshop for educators (middle and high school) 
at WHOI on Friday, March 30. Registration extended!

Two topics , presented by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution 
scientists, and relating technology to current research in marine 
ecology and physical oceanography, at the tropics and the poles:

    "The Mystery of Animal Migrations: how geochemistry can help
    ecologists track fish"
    --and--
    "Rapid Climate Change in the Arctic: using new instruments and
    climate models to investigate a fragile system"

 
Lunch, DVDs, and certificates towards PDPs provided. Featuring hands-on data-rich activities the teachers can use in
