Hi, everyone:

I just got confirmation that Margo Pellegrino will be arriving into Roger
Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett tomorrow afternoon. Read more about

She's been making this paddle to raise awareness for local environmental
issues at the locations that she visits. Donations to support her mission
made on her web site can go directly to your Surfrider Foundation chapter
of choice.

A few of us will be paddling out in the early afternoon to meet Margo at
Deep Hole in Matunuck and escort her in to Roger Wheeler. At 6:00pm, we're
all going to head to Dave Prescott's place in Charlestown for a barbecue,
and I'm sure we'll pick Margo's brain for some interesting tales of her
trip so far (for those of us....me.... too lazy to read her entire blog).

If you are interested in attending either the paddle or the barbecue,
please RSVP to this email. We'll send you details for the paddle and
directions to the barbecue at that time.

And before I forget, Margo has yet to secure places to stay in Rhode Island
for tomorrow, the 3rd, and Wednesday the 4th in Newport. If you are able to
support her and her land escort/driver Emily in any way, please contact us
at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

It's going to be beautiful for paddling (and horrible for surfing) tomorrow
- flat, no wind and sunny, so come on out with us.
