[SEMCO] A Sea of Change Lecture Series: Right Whales in the Wrong Places

Nantucket Soundkeeper and the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society present
the final talk in the five-part lecture series, A Sea of Change: Survival
of Marine Wildlife in Today's Oceans - Impacts, Implications and
Improvements, on the effects of climate change on the ocean and local marine
wildlife. The free public presentations are being held on Wednesdays
between July 18 and August 15 at 7:00p.m. at the Harwich Community Center,
100 Oak Street in Harwich.
The final presentation in the series will be on Wednesday, August 15th with
Charles 'Stormy' Mayo from the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies
speaking to the critical role plankton plays in the ocean's food webs and
how whales are impacted by changes in the marine eco-system, especially to
shifts in plankton production at the bottom of the food web.
