The Association to Preserve Cape Cod is sponsoring a pond

Did you know there are more than 900 lakes and ponds on Cape Cod?
Have you ever looked at a these bodies of water, and wondered what
is happening under the surface? Today, encroaching development,
wastewater, fertilizer, runoff, metals, pesticides, and herbicides
threaten these precious resources and our enjoyment of them. If you
are interested in any of these issues concerning freshwater
habitats, please join us at this informative event.

    Topics will include:

Cape Cod Ponds: What lives in them? Why are they important?

    Pond and Lake Stewards Update

    Ashumet Pond Update

    Fish Run Stewardship
