The Association to Preserve Cape Cod is sponsoring a pond
<br>
stewardship workshop for concerned citizens and freshwater
<br>
enthusiasts with the support of the
<br>
<br>
Cape Cod Commission and AmeriCorps-Cape Cod.
<br>
<br>
Did you know there are more than 900 lakes and ponds on Cape Cod?
<br>
Have you ever looked at a these bodies of water, and wondered what
<br>
is happening under the surface? Today, encroaching development,
<br>
wastewater, fertilizer, runoff, metals, pesticides, and herbicides
<br>
threaten these precious resources and our enjoyment of them. If
you
<br>
are interested in any of these issues concerning freshwater
<br>
habitats, please join us at this informative event.
<br>

Follow for approximately 1 mile. The Community Center is
on the left, near the library.
