THINK BLUE MASSACHUSETTS CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF AT CAPE COD MARITIME DAYS
FESTIVAL

Hingham, Ma- On Sunday, May 21, the Massachusetts Bay Estuary Association

will kick off the Think Blue Massachusetts campaign at the Cape Cod
Maritime Festival from 11 – 4 PM Aselton Park at the corner of Ocean and
South streets in Hyannis, Ma.

Think Blue Massachusetts is a spirited and creative interactive outreach
and education campaign to inspire individuals’ stewardship of
Massachusetts and Cape Cod Bays through stormwater awareness.

The Duck Party will introduce “Stormy” the 15’ inflatable duck used to
promote stormwater education around the state as the Think Blue
Massachusetts Campaign takes to the streets. The campaign will reach
across all media–television, newsprint, radio—will be on the ground in
point-of-purchase displays, sports franchise promotions and community
events. It will speak to people during their commute via displays on
trains and boats and during nightly news through weathercaster broadcasts.

Think Blue Massachusetts challenges the behaviors that negatively impact
the health of Massachusetts Rivers, Beaches and Bays. Through education
and awareness, the campaign provides citizens with a clear path toward
protecting our precious riverine and coastal environment, by encouraging
specific individual actions that when taken together keep our waters blue.

Please join us at the Cape Cod Maritime Festival for an afternoon of
family fun.
