Please post the following job opening at the Waquoit Bay National
Estuarine Research Reserve

 

Island Manager 

Waquoit Bay Reserve

Camp on Washburn Island four nights per week and spend one day working
at Reserve Headquarters.

Provide information and interpretive programs to the public, maintain
campsites and trails, and patrol island to encourage compliance with
rules and to monitor endangered species. Requirements: Must be a minimum
of twenty years old with basic camping skills, experience working with
the public and knowledge of coastal ecology.  Standard First Aid and CPR
required.  Boating experience preferred. Position runs through 09/16/06
Salary $450.00 per week.  Off-island housing and tents provided Send
