Towards a Zero Energy Home 

January 24, 2006. Woods Hole Research Center Gilman Ordway Campus, Woods
Hole (includes tour of award winning building). 

Full day seminar for architects, engineers and home builders. Marc
Rosenbaum, P.E., Energysmiths will outline the methods for achieving
homes that require little or no non-renewable energy to power them.  The
workshop begins with a presentation of typical residential energy loads
and methods for reducing them. The focus then shifts to energy supply
and available sources are presented and evaluated.   The workshop
concludes with several case studies designed to be zero annual net
energy homes. Registration is $85.00, ($75.00 for early bird
