Global Climate Change and Human Health

Climate change is expected to have far-reaching effects on individuals
and communities around the world. Here in the United States, and
especially for residents of Cape Cod, climate change is likely to cause
more heat stress, rising sea levels, more extreme weather events,
worsening air quality, increased risk of infectious diseases, and
concerns about water quantity and quality. This talk will cover each of
these areas in more depth while also addressing what can be done to
mitigate the impacts and slow or reverse climate change.
