Trevor Corson, author of "The Secret Life of Lobsters: How Fishermen and
Scientist Are Unraveling the Mysteries of Our Favorite Crustacean" will be
speaking at Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary this Wednesday,
August 3, at 7:30 p.m.

Have you ever wondered why lobsters turn red when cooked, how they
communicate, or how they grow?Spend an evening with renowned author Trevor
Corson. His book The Secret Life of Lobsters opens a whole new world to
readers – that of lobsters and lobster fishermen. Through photographs and
video clips including rare underwater footage, Trevor’s presentation at
Wellfleet Bay on August 3 at 7:30 p.m., describes the mysterious abundance
of lobsters in the Gulf of Maine, the collaborative efforts of scientist and
fishermen to understand these creatures and the remarkable aspects of
lobster behavior and biology.

Cost of the lecture is $4 for Mass Audubon members and $5 for nonmembers.
Registration is not required but we encourage early arrival to secure a
