Grant Money for Clean Boating Projects Available - Please read or
forward to other environmental or boating nonprofits

Applications are now available for 2005 Clean Water Grants through the
BoatU.S. Foundation.

Grants of up to $4,000 are available to small nonprofits to conduct
clean boating education projects on topics like pumpout education, clean
fueling, and litter prevention. The "focus topic" for 2005 is the
prevention of aquatic nuisance species, but all clean boating education
proposals will be considered. Applications must be emailed by midnight
or mailed by February 1, 2005. To view previous grant projects or
download grant applications and guidelines, please visit
http://www.boatus.com/cleanwater/grants/ .

If your organization is not eligible but know of an organization that
is, will you please pass this information on?

Thank you!
